So bookkeeping isn't my first business, but for some reason it seems other businesses like to send their products/advertisements to me this time around.
I received this huge catalog in the mail a little while ago, and I finally have a minute to sit down and flip through it.
It's 375 pages, 41,000+ products for businesses.
Anything from boxes to cleaning supplies, safety gear and office equipment.
Holy cow!
If only my business wasn't 90% digital work.

To our Gusto customers with Silicon Valley Bank (SVB): We know it’s been incredibly stressful for many of you to try and log into the SVB portal to send wire funds for payroll. Gusto is doing everything we can to help get your employees paid today.

Given the issues associated with wiring funds out of Silicon Valley Bank, we’re using our own balance sheet to run payroll for you for the 3/13 payroll date if you were not able to send your wire transfer in on time this morning.

Please be advised that some payments may not arrive in the accounts of your employees until tomorrow (3/14).

For payroll dates (after today) throughout the week of 3/13, you’ll still be required to send wire transfers–it's best to send as soon as possible and no later than end of day, on the day prior to your check date.

Wire transfers are the surest and more reliable method for payroll given the current situation.

We’ll continue to keep you updated on the best protocols to make sure your team is paid on time and taken care of.

As a reminder, Gusto's payroll operations don't rely on SVB. We use a redundant system of leading national banks (such as JP Morgan Chase and PNC).
