📢 Friendly Year-End Reminder for Williamson County Homeowners! 🏡

If you’re planning to claim the Illinois Property Tax Credit on your 2025 state return, make sure your 2nd installment of 2024 property taxes is paid before December 31st!

💡 Why it matters:
Illinois only allows the credit for property taxes paid within the calendar year, so even if the due date falls later, you’ll need to have that payment completed by year-end to receive the full deduction.

✅ Tip: Double-check with the Williamson County Treasurer’s Office or your mortgage escrow account to confirm the payment has been processed.
