Today is the first day the IRS will begin accepting and processing electronic tax returns (e-filing) for the 2025 tax year (filing season 2026). We are pretty much booked up through February but still have client openings the third week of March through April 15. If you are looking to make a tax appointment, please call us asap and we will get you on the schedule.

Depreciation is the term that accounts for the loss of value in an asset over time. Generally, an asset has to have substantial value in order to warrant depreciating it. Common assets to be depreciated are automobiles and equipment. Depreciation appears on the Income Statement as an expense and is often categorized as a “Non-Cash Expense” since it doesn’t have a direct impact on a company’s cash position.

Tax Form 1095A: Proof of health insurance, required under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Most taxpayers will no longer receive this form, unless you get your insurance through the Healthcare Marketplace. If you do, you may be entitled to a special premium tax credit. You will need this form to support this deduction.
