📄 Estate planning isn’t just about having a will.

One of the biggest goals of a good estate plan is making things easier for the people you love when you’re gone—and probate can often be a lengthy, expensive headache for your family.

Something many people don’t realize?
❌ A will alone usually isn’t enough to avoid probate.

In our Estate Planning 101 video, we break down the basics of building an estate plan and some of the important pieces you may want to consider.

When markets are at all-time highs, it’s easy to wonder:

➡️ Is now really a good time to invest, or should I wait?

History gives us an important reminder, that waiting for the “perfect” time can come with its own risks.

📈 The best market days often happen close to the worst ones.
⏳ Missing just a handful of those strong days can make a big difference over time.
🎯 The goal isn’t perfect timing. It’s having a plan you can stick with.

In our latest blog, we look at what has happened when investors bought at some of the worst possible times and why staying invested can matter more than getting the timing just right!

The S&P 500 reached 24 new all-time highs during the first half of 2026. While that sounds encouraging, it can also make investors wonder whether they have already missed their opportunity. Add in concerns about technology valuations, artificial intelligence, inflation, interest rates, and

💼 The labor-force participation rate just hit its lowest level since 2021, largely driven by workers 55+ leaving the workforce.

But is that a warning sign, or simply another form of rotation?

In our latest blog, we explore what’s changing beneath the surface and what it could mean for the economy and markets.

Fundstrat recently pointed out that the labor-force participation rate has been gradually declining all year and just fell to  61.4% — the lowest level since February 2021 . What caught my attention, though, is  who is driving the decline: workers aged 55 and older . Their part

➡️ This chart is a great reminder that yesterday's winner isn't guaranteed to be tomorrow's winner.

An asset class can be at the very top of the performance rankings one year and near the bottom the next.

‼️ That's why diversification matters.

No single investment stays on top forever. Diversifying across asset classes can help you navigate the market's ups and downs over time.

The goal isn't to own only the best-performing investment of the year, it's to build a portfolio that can weather the ups and downs over the long-term!

💰 Wealth isn’t always inherited - more often, it’s built.

💰 Twenty years ago, a $1M portfolio (50/50 stock and bonds) started generating retirement income.

At a 4% annual withdrawal rate, it's worth $1.856M today.
At 8%? $0.
Depleted in 16 years, 1 month — August 2022.

Same starting balance, same market, same 20-year stretch.

👉 The only variable was how much was pulled out each year (withdrawal rate).

This isn't a reason to panic about retirement spending — it's a reason to plan it. The "4% rule" gets thrown around a lot, but the real number depends on your timeline, your portfolio mix, and how flexible your spending can be in down markets!

🤝 One of the questions we hear most often is, "What happens at the first meeting?"

We call it a Fit Meeting because that's exactly what it is.

It's not about making decisions or feeling pressured to move forward - it's simply a conversation.

We'll get to know you - where you are today, what you want retirement to look like, and what's prompting you to seek advice. We'll also explain how we work, what our planning process looks like, and the types of clients we serve best.

By the end of the meeting, both of us should be able to answer one question:

✅ Are we the right fit to help you reach your goals?

💡 Sometimes the biggest risks don't look risky at all.

It's easy to spot excess after the fact. It's much harder to recognize it while everyone else is feeling confident.

➡️ In our latest blog, we share a few things we've been noticing beneath the surface of today's markets and why they reinforce something we believe has always mattered: staying disciplined, diversified, and focused on your long-term plan.

It's not about predicting what's next. It's about understanding the environment you're investing in!

One of the hardest parts about investing is recognizing excess before everyone else does. You rarely hear people say, "This has gone too far," while prices are still climbing. In fact, it's usually the opposite. The higher markets go, the easier it becomes to justify the claim that th

💬 Many couples don't always approach money the same way. They value different things, have different spending habits, and naturally see some financial decisions through different lenses.

🎯 The biggest impact isn't from changing each other - it comes from taking the time to build a shared vision for the life they want and creating a plan to help them get there.

Having different personalities doesn't have to mean having different financial futures.

Leah shares how she and Shean "got on the same page financially" in our latest blog!

My husband, and now business partner, Shean and I started dating shortly after high school, so in a lot of ways, we've grown up together. I know that's not everyone's story, but it's given us a unique perspective on how we've learned to get aligned, especially when it comes to money.

After years of helping people retire, one thing stands out.

❌ Very few people say:
"I wish I had spent more time at the office."

✅ Many say:
"I wish I had retired when I was ready."

Retiring brings a lot of questions and emotions, but having a plan in place, with real numbers and specific to your situation can help provide answers and alleviate some of the stress that comes along with deciding "when"!
