Your tax folder deserves a fall refresh. Set a 15-minute timer and create four folders: Income, Expenses, Tax Payments, and Notices. Keep everything in a secure place you can find again, and make it easy on yourself by naming files clearly (date + source + topic).

Ten years ago today, I officially registered ASAP Tax Professionals LLC and began a new chapter as a full-time entrepreneur after leaving the Social Security Administration.

On October 17, 2016, I took a chance on myself. Today, I’m taking a moment to celebrate that decision and everything this journey has taught me.
