🎉 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SPIES TAX CONNECTIONS 🎉

We are incredibly excited to share that Spies Tax Connections has officially purchased our permanent headquarters at 9340 Parallel Parkway in Kansas City, KS.
We’re in a prime location just 10 minutes from I‑70, 5 minutes from I‑435, 7 minutes from the Legends, 10 minutes from Kansas Speedway, and about 15 minutes from the future Chiefs stadium.

We will be fully operating out of our new location no later than April 1st!

But that’s not all…
Spies Tax Connections is entering a brand‑new chapter, and we’ve got big things coming:

• 👥 New employees joining our team
• 💡 New tax strategies & planning options

🎖️ Active-Duty Military Pay & State Taxes – What You Need to Know! 🇺🇸

Did you know that your active-duty military pay is taxed differently depending on the state you live in? Some states fully exempt military income, while others offer partial exemptions or tax it as regular income.

✅ No State Income Tax (No tax on any income!):
Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wyoming

🏅 States That Fully Exempt Active-Duty Military Pay:
Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Wisconsin

⚖️ States with Partial Exemptions or Special Conditions:
Some states offer exemptions for combat pay, pay earned outside the state, or other conditions. Examples:
✔️ Maryland – Excludes up to $15,000 of military pay earned outside the U.S.
✔️ Idaho – Military pay earned outside Idaho for 120+ consecutive days is exempt.
✔️ Oregon – Residents stationed in the state may subtract up to $6,000 from taxable income.
