Full-service CPA firm located in Kennett Square PA is currently looking for an experienced tax preparer and staff accountant to join our team. Working closely with clients, responsibilities include:

Staff Accountant
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare account reconciliations
• Maintain chart of accounts; ensure proper recording and classification
• Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately
• Prepare federal, state, and local payroll tax returns
• QuickBooks consulting

Tax Preparer:
• Preparation of personal, corporate, partnership and trust tax return preparation
• Preparation of financial statements for small to medium size businesses
• Handle tax planning questions, discuss complex tax matters, and provide advice
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent service to our clients
• Should be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
• Strong working knowledge of Ultra Tax, Thomson Reuters software, QuickBooks, and MS office

These are challenging yet rewarding roles that will require excellent interpersonal skills interacting with clients, staff, and management. At least 2 years experience in public accounting and a working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office is necessary. Part-time or full-time positions are available, including remote options once you are established and comfortable with the position and requirements. We offer a competitive salary package with excellent benefits and bonus program after our tax season.
