We are saddened to share the passing of our founder and former partner, Mike Douville. Mike established our firm in 1986, and for decades faithfully served individuals and businesses in our community, building trusted relationships, some that have spanned generations.

Mike retired at the beginning of 2021, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, mentorship, and unwavering work ethic. Many of us had the privilege of learning directly from him and experiencing firsthand his steady guidance and dedication.

Mike shared a beautiful and loving marriage with his wife, Mary Sue. Their devotion to one another was evident to all who knew them, and our hearts are especially with Mary Sue and family during this time.

We are deeply grateful for Mike’s vision, character, and the lasting impact he made on our firm and our community. He will be remembered with great respect and appreciation.

"The TX Restaurant Relief Fund will distribute grants of up to $5,000 per owner to help independent restaurants keep their doors open and their workers employed.

To qualify, a restaurant must meet each of these criteria:

Be an independent restaurant (defined as a restaurant owned by a corporation, limited liability partnership, general partnership, or sole proprietorship that is not a franchisee or unit of a national chain)

Have plans to reopen or remain open

Have suffered physical and/or economic damage from the floods that occurred over the July Fourth week

Be in one or more of the following Texas counties: Bandera, Bexar, Burnet, Caldwell, Coke, Comal, Concho, Edwards, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Hamilton, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Kinney, Lampasas, Llano, Mason, Maverick, McCulloch, Menard, Real, Reeves, San Saba, Schleicher, Sutton, Tom Green, Travis, Uvalde, and Williamson."
