👀 REMINDERS

1. Don't stress your tax pro if you don't have an 846 yet! It's plenty more batches of tax drops to come!

2. If you got an advance, you will not receive the full amount that you see on your transcript or the amount you've been typing in Where's My Refund. The bank gets theirs off the TOP

3. You have tax prep fees as well! Those come out before your refund is released.

4. If you have any offsets/debts, your tax prep fees are still due. So if your refund was $6789 and your prep fees were $500 but the IRS took $4000 for a debt, your $500 prep fee will still be deducted.

5. Don't spend it all in one place! If this is the biggest amount of money you'll see this year. Put some of it up or into something that will make your life easier this year (car, high yield savings, paying bills up etc)

I just saw *another* post on this, so, to be clear, THERE ARE NO PLANS TO ISSUE TARIFF CHECKS as part of your tax refund this year.

Not $1k, not $2k. NONE.

Don't spend money you don't have in your pocket. Any tariff rebates/checks/dividends are speculative right now, and they certainly aren't being paid out with your tax refund.

Be smart. If you have questions about your potential refund, ask your tax professional or a trusted resource.
