📢 Tina D Agency Tax Clients: Be on the Lookout!
If you elected to open a TRUMP ACCOUNT on your 2025 tax return, activation emails are beginning to go out!
✅ Activate online or through the mobile app. (super user friendly)
✅ You'll need the primary taxpayer's information from your 2025 tax return to verify eligibility.
✅ The platform includes a balance estimator and basic investing resources.
🙌 Accounts officially go live July 4, 2026.
A few quick reminders:
💰 The initial $1,000 pilot contribution does not count toward the annual contribution limit.
💰 Parents, family, friends, and employers can collectively contribute up to $5,000 per year until the child turns 18.
💰 Employers may contribute up to $2,500 annually, tax-free to the employee.
🔒 Built-in safeguards help prevent over-contributions.
It's not entirely clear how funding will be added yet but by the looks of the site, I'm expecting to see a contribution button once the accounts go live 7/4/2026.
