TIM'S STATISTICS ALERT: According to research firm Bespoke Investment group the Nasdaq 100 ETF (QQQ) has closed at the lowest quartile of the days range 4 days in a row. (as of October 13, 2021)

In technical terms (ie looking at charts) this could be viewed as a negative or weakness in the tech index.

Yet historically the average return over the next 6 months and 1 year, following a 4 days closing in the lowest daily quartile are 9.15% and 19.78% respectively. And the index is positive over those time frames 100% of the time (since 1999).

No guarantee this will continue but something to think about in light of some recent weakness...
