Maxwell Tax Services Preparation, Planning & Consulting for Individuals, Small Businesses & Non-Profit Organizations

"Over and over again, courts have said that there is nothing sinister in so arranging one's affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible. Everybody does so, rich and poor, and all do right, for nobody owes any public duty to pay more than the law demands: taxes are enforced extractions, not voluntary contributions."

- eminent judge Learned Hand, Commissioner v. Newman, 159 F.2d 848 (CA-2, 1947)

Nearly every business decision and major life event has a tax impact, and effective tax planning happens before the fact. When making any business/employment related decision, or planning for any of life's major changes, it is always best to consider the tax implications ahead of time in order to properly minimize the potential Federal, state & local tax liabilities. If you plan to enter into a new business venture, are getting married, or simply want to plan your finances ahead of time to minimize your liabilities, contact me for a free consultation and we can discuss your options.
