We are truly saddened by the loss of City of Cerritos Councilman Mr. Jim Edwards. We have lost a caring and dedicated man. We had the opportunity to chat with him most recently at the rededication of the Cerritos Library aquarium. As always he was there smiling and congratulating everyone. He shared some wonderful kind words to me congratulating me on becoming the president of the Friends of the Cerritos Library. As always he asked me how my kids were doing and also told me he owes my son a game of golf as he had promised him earlier. Such thoughtful and kind words from Jim were not unusual. We are honored and will always cherish these memories. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Connie and the family.
