$500 FOR ACA some enrollees

President Donald Trump announced on Sept. 10 that his administration would mail the checks starting this month to nearly 1 million ACA enrollees, a small majority of the roughly 19 million participants.

The funding comes from increased “user fees” charged to ACA insurers during the Biden administration, which were passed on to consumers through higher premiums.

The money will go to people who don’t qualify for any subsidy: those who earn more than 400% of the federal poverty level, or about $60,000 for an individual adult. Those individuals were hit hardest by Congress and the White House’s decision not to extend the enhanced tax credits enacted under the Biden administration.

The enhanced credits ensured that those affected wouldn’t pay more than 8.5% of their annual income for health care.

I want you to live this day abundantly, seeing all there is to see, doing all there is to do. Don't be distracted by future concerns. Leave them to Me! Each day of life is a glorious gift, but so few people know how to live within the confines of today. Much of their energy for abundant living spills over the timeline into tomorrow's worries or past regrets. Their remaining energy is sufficient only for limping through the day, not for living it to the full. I am training you to keep your focus on My Presence in the present. This is how to receive abundant Life, which flows freely from My throne of grace.

Tax Filers:

Now is the chance for you to change your federal (W-4) & State (L-4) withholdings. Don’t put off changing if you owed IRS in 2025. You only have 5 months to increase your withholdings.

Also, if you owed a large sum, you can have federal taxes withheld from your Social Security and your retirement.
