From working at prestigious Fortune 500 management
firms to opening his own practice in 2007, King has
represented businesses, artists, designers, musicians,
athletes, and hardworking Americans, large and small. A driven entrepreneur and community activist, King
fulfills multiple speaking engagements throughout the
year to reach as many people as possible and inform
them of their options for uncovering their financial
confidence, empowering their community, and living in
their purpose. He excels at embracing his background
and education to cater to audiences as a dynamic and
motivating keynote speaker, openly providing descriptive
insights into his personal failures, successes, and passion
for helping others. In an ongoing effort to give back, King teaches youth
workshops on “Financial Freedom & the Pathway to
College,” a financial series that centers on misguided
youth and their adventures in the new financial world. He
also sits on the board or serves as a participating
member of a host of organizations, including the
National Association of Professional Agents (NAPA), Phi
Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Blacks in Government (BIG),
Federally Employed Women (FEW), YMCA, Soles 4 Souls,
Big Brothers Big Sisters and more. King holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a
concentration in Marketing and Business Law as well as a
Master of Business Administration from University of
Phoenix. He also holds a Master of Science in
Management, Strategy and Leadership from Michigan
State University, as well as a Ph.D. in Business from
Kingston University - London. His certifications include
Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) , Federal
Retirement Consultant (FRC℠), and Behavioral Financial
Advisor (BFA™).
