We have been patrons of the Silver Ring Cafe since the girls were only kids, over 20 years! The family would come to downtown Lakeland and visit me on my lunch break in between clients, helping the pre-retirees and retirees of Lakeland. Now that the girls are both in their twenties and have recently graduated college, they now have both joined working alongside their Dad at the family business! We have continued visiting the Silver Ring on our shared lunch breaks before returning to work together at the office. Such a full circle story, working the same job but now with my adult daughters, and visiting the same cafe we went to when they were small and not even in school yet. So sad to see them leave their old location full of so many memories, but we will definitely be continuing our lunch breaks at the new location! Best Ybor city-style Cuban sandwiches, and the fastest lunch service in Lakeland! Try them out when they reopen if you haven't already tasted this Lakeland icon! ☺ We appreciate you, Silver Ring Cafe!
