Important update for nonprofits fundraising in Virginia:

VDACS has announced that some organizations that submitted charitable renewal filings or extension requests by mail may have received incorrect expiration notifications.

If your filing or extension request was postmarked on or before the deadline, the state confirmed your registration will not be treated as late and no late fees will apply.
