Update for those planning to attend the event. The event has been postponed.

Due to unforeseen circumstances related to the air quality, and out of an abundance of caution for our artists and festival attendees, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Dam Jam Music Festival scheduled for July 17–18.

The safety and well-being of everyone involved is our highest priority. We are actively working to secure new dates and will announce the rescheduled festival as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding and continued support, and we look forward to celebrating with you soon.

Michigan's cyclospora outbreak has now surpassed 3,300 reported infections, with state health investigators identifying lettuce and salad greens as a potential source as the investigation continues.

Across Mid-Michigan, restaurants are taking proactive steps to help protect customers. Responses vary by business and may include:
• Temporarily removing salads or leafy greens from menus
• Sourcing produce from different suppliers
• Enhancing food safety and cleaning protocols
• In some cases, temporarily pausing operations

As the investigation continues, health officials encourage consumers to stay informed and follow updates from local and state public health agencies.

Food safety remains a top priority, and many local businesses are adapting quickly to reduce potential risks while continuing to serve their communities.
