This week the Five Lakes Financial team had a delicious BBQ followed by CPR training. Don't worry, no CPR was needed during the BBQ!

🚑Special thanks to Jeremy Compau from Medstar Ambulance for an outstanding CPR training! Jeremy educated us on knowing the signs of a cardiac event and what steps to take to save lives. The team got to practice compressions on both an adult and infant manikins. We all hope we won't need to use these skills but are so grateful to Jeremy for teaching us how to respond effectively if the situation arises. 💪

Shout out to our resident Grill Master Isaiah for battling the heat and cooking the dogs to perfection 🌭

📣 Introducing our newest team member, Jeremy Goscenski! Jeremy has joined the Five Lakes Financial team as our Director of Investment Operations & Services.

Jeremy is a dedicated financial services professional with a strong work ethic shaped by over two decades in the demolition industry.

In November 2023, Jeremy transitioned into the insurance and financial services field, bringing a disciplined, hands-on mindset and a commitment to helping others plan for their futures. He earned his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses in Spring 2025, marking an important milestone in his career and reinforcing his dedication to professional growth and client service.

Outside of work, Jeremy values an active lifestyle and enjoys spending time outdoors through sports, hiking, and other recreational activities. He also appreciates relaxing with movies and television. At home, his golden retriever, Riley, keeps him active and grounded.

We are thrilled to welcome him to the Five Lakes Financial team!

We want to send our sincerest thanks to Warren Systems Inc and Midwest Electric! Both of these awesome companies came to our rescue last week when we needed emergency electrical work and air conditioner units replaced! We truly can't thank you enough, last week was HOT 🥵 You guys are life savers 🤩

We are proud to name Jon Tazzia as our first official Employee of the Month for May!

Jon joined the Five Lakes Financial team in 2022 as a Financial Planning Assistant. Always going above and beyond, bringing positive energy, and delivering outstanding results, he quickly proved he had what it takes to be Director of Investment Operations. Jon's knowledge and dedication left a lasting impression on both our clients and our team.

While we are sad to see Jon go, we wish him nothing but the best on this next chapter of life!

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to us! It's hard to believe a whole year has flown by since the Five Lakes Financial team moved into our new office at 452 S. Main Street in lovely Lapeer! We could not be happier with our new space and can't wait to share some building updates in the near future!
