Today, I want to thank every taxpayer in this country.
To every person who leaves home each day, works hard, and contributes through the sweat of their brow to support the system and the land we proudly call our own... thank you.
To the men and women who serve in our Armed Forces, our first responders, and everyone who willingly sacrifices to help protect our nation's security and the freedoms we enjoy, thank you for your courage and your service.
To our teachers and educators, thank you for the incredible responsibility of sharing knowledge, inspiring curiosity, and helping shape future generations. At the same time, may we never forget that a child's first and most important education begins at home, where values, character, respect, and integrity are first taught.
And to every honest public servant who works with integrity to uphold the Constitution, protect our rights, preserve our dignity, and faithfully serve the people, thank you for choosing principle over personal gain.
As an immigrant, this country welcomed me and gave me opportunities I will never take for granted. Today, I celebrate not only America's Independence, but also the people who make this nation what it is.
We the People. You are America. The workers, the entrepreneurs, the small business owners, the parents, the teachers, the service members, the first responders, and every honest citizen who contributes more than most people realize.
May God continue to bless those who serve with integrity, those who work with honor, those who teach with purpose, and those who sacrifice for the generations to come.
