Wendy Smith started in the tax business in 1993 working for H&R Block in the Port Huron area. After two years of working for H&R Block, Wendy saw an opportunity to provide the same service to clients at a more affordable rate. Wendy spent the 1995 tax season working on putting together a plan to provide this service to her town of Croswell. Wendy started preparing taxes in January of 1996 by prepa

ring 26 tax returns by hand. The word got out about her service and she was quickly up to almost 100 clients, filing all by hand. At this point, Wendy purchased a computer and professional tax software. With these aids, Wendy was able to build her business to 655 clients before her move to Minnesota in June of 2013.

I would like to thank all my clients for their patience in getting to their tax returns. In the last 3 weeks I have been hospitalized twice and had my dad pass away. I will be back in the office this weekend trying to get caught up with everything.

It's April 2nd. Do you have your tax stuff to me yet? If I get them by the 10th they will be filed on time otherwise I will file an extension for you. If you need an extension filed...please let me know by the 15th as they will be mailed first thing the morning of the 17th
