The IRS has said that they will begin accepting 2024 tax returns on January 27, 2025.

I have many openings available.

Here is the check list as promised.
Basic information needed for tax preparation.
1. Personal information, full name, social security number, birthdate (the IRS requires ssno and bdate to verify who you are for efile.
2. Same as #1 for spouse and all dependents.
3. Income - W-2’s, 1099’s, retirement statements, SS Statement, pension distributions, K-1’s from business interests, interest from banks. Alimony income.
If I have not filed your returns in the past I will need a copy of your last (2022) return.
4. Mortgage statements, home owners insurance, property tax, documents on any home refinance.
5. Medical premiums paid, vehicle taxes paid, donations both cash and items to Deseret Industries, Savers, or other places that take used items.
6. Student Loan interest paid, Tuition paid, expenses related to school.
If you have a business.
7. Information regarding your business, legal name, dated started, federal id number, partners and % of partnership.
8. Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet for the business.
9. Information on payments made towards taxes. Date, amount.
There are other items that may be needed. I will contact you if anything else is required.
