My daddy, business partner and accountant extraordinaire, passed away on Friday 1/9/26.

I will not be available most of this week as we spend important time together with family and friends. I will monitor voicemails and emails and respond to any time sensitive issues. Regular hours will resume on Monday 1/19/26.

Update: both the IRS and NCDOR have changed the due date to 9/25/2025. For 2023 returns this is the deadline for original filings. For 2024 this is the due date for returns AND payments.

FYI: NC Taxpayers have a special due date of 5/1/2025 for income tax returns normally due by 4/15/2025 for both the federal and state income tax returns.
