2026 Kentucky Society of CPAs Spring Banquet, where the scholarship winners, candidates who passed their exams and are working toward their experience requirement, and Kentucky’s newest CPAs were celebrated.🎉🎊👏🏼💐

Today, we welcomed Morgan Griffey, the Gratitude and Donor Relations Manager of DV8 Kitchen and DV8 Kitchen Vocational Training Foundation Inc.

She is making thoughtful visits to board members and community partners to gather ideas, strengthen connections, and help expand the reach of DV8’s mission.

I am grateful to be a part of these important conversations.

DV8 creates second chances through employment for individuals in recovery, pairing meaningful work with structure, accountability, and support.

The 2026 DV8K Life-Changing Run is on August 15, 2026 at Keeneland.

Kentucky is opening new doors to the CPA profession.

House Bill 45 (HB45) modernizes CPA licensure by introducing flexible pathways while keeping the same high standards for education, experience and the CPA Exam.

✔️ Multiple paths to licensure
✔️ New option: Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of CPA-verified experience
✔️ Stronger, more accessible pipeline for future CPAs

These changes help remove barriers and support the next generation of accounting professionals in Kentucky.

We are in need of clothes to keep on hand for students when they need a change of clothes for various reasons. As you are purging closets to make room for new clothes from the holidays, we would appreciate your donations of anything that fits within our dress code (guidelines below). We’ve included a list of current inventory and highlighted the areas of highest need. We will also accept adult sizes following the same dress code guidelines for older students. Coats, hats, and gloves will be accepted during the winter for students in needed.

All items will be accepted at the discretion of The Provision. If you have questions, please contact the front office.

Dress Code:
-Neutral Colored Pants- earth tones, black, grey, navy; jean or docker style fabric
-Collared Shirts- solid colors preferred
-Fingertip length shorts and skirts/skorts- neutral colors; docker style fabric
-Any Provision gear from former families that is still in good condition

TOMORROW, come out to our weekly group challenge from 8 - 10 am for The Frosty Feet Winter Mileage Challenge❄️ Every Sunday morning of the challenge through Sunday, Feb. 8, you can come to DV8 East End to run/walk with a group and enjoy complimentary hot coffee, bottled water and a weekly DV8 Kitchen breakfast treat/sandwich. Tomorrow, runners/walkers will get a Chicken Salad Sandwich!
