We did it—$20,000 raised for CAP! 💛

Pictured is CAP President & CEO Jennifer Stolo with one of the many children who experienced a week of CAP Summer Camp, building skills, confidence, and friendships that can last a lifetime.

“It was definitely a ‘Mission Moment’ for me when this camper sat down beside me and asked if he could teach me how to make this bracelet,” Jennifer shared.

When we first launched this campaign, our goal was to raise $13,000 to support the incredible work of Christian Appalachian Project.

Then devastating flooding struck Eastern Kentucky once again.

Because of your overwhelming generosity, we increased our goal to $20,000 so that the additional $7,000 could help support CAP’s emergency flood relief efforts for families in Madison County and neighboring communities affected by the flooding.

Just to give you a sense of the impact, our original $13,000 campaign alone can:

• Help make the homes of 5 seniors safe, warm, and dry so they can live with comfort and dignity. 🏠

• Send 24 children to a transformational week of CAP Summer Camp, building skills, confidence, and friendships that last a lifetime. 🎒

• Fill 5,400 backpacks with weekend meals for children throughout the school year, ensuring they have food when school meals aren’t available. 🍎

And now, thanks to your generosity, an additional $7,000 will help CAP respond to urgent flood recovery needs—bringing hope and practical assistance to families when they need it most.

🐾 It's officially the Dog Days of Summer! 🐶

And around the IWA office, that means one thing: it's time for our four-legged family members to have their turn in the spotlight.

From professional treat inspectors to part-time squirrel surveillance officers, our dogs keep us entertained year-round and remind us not to take life too seriously.

Fun fact: July 11 is All American Pet Photo Day, a day dedicated to sharing photos of the pets that make our lives a little brighter. We figured that was the perfect excuse to show off some of the real stars behind the scenes at Inspired Wealth Advisors.

🚶‍When Brittany's Away, the Beths Will Play! 😼

With Brittany spending some time in Canada this week, Beth and Elizabeth have been taking full advantage of the extra flexibility in the office schedule.

The daily walks have turned into two walks a day, and we even squeezed in a picnic lunch this week! 🧺

Don't worry—they are still hard at work and keeping things moving. But it's been a great reminder that sometimes stepping away from the desk for a few minutes can help you come back refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of the day.

So here's a friendly challenge to all our fellow desk dwellers and keyboard warriors: take a few extra steps today when you can. Your emails will still be there when you get back. 😉

And Brittany, if you're reading this—don't worry, we promise we got plenty done between walks. 😄

CAP Flood Relief

When devastating floods hit communities across Kentucky, Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) didn't wait—they got to work.

Since the flooding began, CAP has:
- Assessed flood damage across multiple Kentucky counties
- Started cleanup and recovery work for affected families
- Distributed food, water, and emergency supplies
- Partnered with local Emergency Management teams to respond to urgent needs
- Begun exploring solutions for families impacted by damaged roads and bridges

☀️ Mid-Summer Intern Check-In

It's hard to believe we're already halfway through the summer!
Over the past several weeks, Adam and Gavin have been getting a behind-the-scenes look at financial planning, sitting in on client meetings, supporting projects, and learning from the team.

💡 Biggest surprise?
Gavin shared that he was surprised by how different every client situation is. Even when two clients have similar assets or goals, the conversations often focus on completely different topics. Adam was surprised by how much work goes into serving clients beyond the meeting itself—from preparation and follow-up to maintaining strong relationships in between.

🤝 Favorite experience?
Both interns agreed that attending client meetings has been the highlight of the summer so far. They’ve enjoyed seeing how advisors combine technical expertise with relationship-building to help clients make confident decisions about their financial future.

📈 Most important lesson learned?
Gavin said the biggest lesson has been that financial planning is about much more than investments and numbers. Adam agreed, sharing that strong relationship and interpersonal skills are often more important than being perfect on the technical side of the profession.

🚀 What's next?
As they move into the second half of their internships, both are excited to get beyond the initial learning phase and become more involved. Adam is looking forward to bringing more value to the team and contributing more, while Gavin is excited to be more involved in the analysis and recommendation process.

We're proud of all they've accomplished so far and can't wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store! 👏

🎉 An advisor so nice, we had to celebrate her twice... maybe three times... possibly four! 🎉

Today, we celebrated a leader who is always giving back. Brittany was treated to pastries for breakfast, a pastry basket at lunch, and not one—but two birthday cakes accompanied by our office's angelic rendition of "Happy Birthday." 🎂🎶

It might sound like a lot, but it's nothing compared to what Brittany gives to her team, clients, and everyone around her each and every day.

When we took time to share what we admire most about Brittany, a few themes kept coming up: her generosity, mentorship, authenticity, impeccable style, and those wickedly fast keyboard skills. She's incredibly smart, capable, caring, and unapologetically herself—and we're all better for knowing her.
