I remember back in 2014 when I first heard about Bitcoin from a colleague and found a website where I was able to purchase my first one. I was able to purchase an entire Bitcoin at a time back then!
I sold what I had in 2017 with a little bit of profit just before the crash. Unfortunately, due to fear and other bad investing experience, I was worried about another eventual crash so I stayed out of the market for some time.
In 2021, I noticed the growth and realized the future of this technology so I decided to better educate myself. I learned a lot more about the crypto market and became an active investor again. Sadly, a year later, like most of us, I went through probably the longest crypto winter.
Flash forward to today, I now feel safer and more confident out there and with my business partner, we even help other people with their crypto taxes.
That was ten years ago. It’s been a wild ride but I’m thankful now that I'm well positioned to ride the crypto wave in the next few years.
