Labenz & Associates LLC, Certified Public Accountants, is pleased to announce the promotions of Jeffrey Sheets, Michael Abramson and Lane Knott.
Jeffrey Sheets was promoted to Partner at Labenz & Associates. He graduated from UNL with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and holds a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from UNL. He serves as the treasurer of the Friends of Nebraska Dyslexia Association, as a board member of the Lincoln Children’s Museum and as a member of the UNL School of Accountancy Junior Advisory Board.
Mike, was promoted to Director with the Firm. He joined Labenz & Associates in 2013 following graduation from Hastings College. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, with a minor in mathematics. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mike serves as a board member for the Lincoln Parks Foundation.
Lane Knott was promoted to Senior Associate. He interned at Labenz & Associates in the spring of 2020 and 2021. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in May 2021, and he completed his Master of Professional Accountancy in May 2022. Lane is a recipient of the Elijah Watt Sells Award in 2023 a prestigious honor that recognizes exceptional performance on the Uniform CPA Exam.
