Now is the time that the IRS and the states begin to mail LETTERS to taxpayers with requests for information or for other tax issues. It is important that a professional review any letter received.

THE IRS AND STATES HAVE SENT MANY LETTERS TO TAXPAYERS IN ERROR THIS YEAR!

There is NO CHARGE for me to review and interpret any letter my clients receive from a taxing authority. There will only be a charge if additional work or amended tax returns are required.

PLEASE DO NOT assume that the letter received is accurate. Do not pay any tax that may be requested until it can be determined that the letter is accurate. Many taxing authority letters are inaccurate and a professional response is required.

PLEASE DO NOT wait until next tax season to address the letter. Tax issues are often time sensitive and should be addressed immediately.
