💰 Did you pay IRS penalties or interest during the COVID years? You may be entitled to a refund.
A recent federal court ruling could allow some taxpayers to claim refunds for certain IRS penalties and interest assessed during the COVID disaster period.
⚠️ This is NOT a new stimulus payment, and refunds are not guaranteed because the case is still being appealed. However, many taxpayers may need to act before July 10, 2026, to protect their rights.
This may apply if you paid:
✔️ Late filing penalties
✔️ Late payment penalties
✔️ Certain estimated tax penalties
✔️ Related interest during the COVID disaster period
Every situation is different, so don't assume you qualify—or that you don't.
If you'd like me to review your IRS account and determine whether you may benefit from filing a protective claim, I'd be happy to help.
