Many of us have investment portfolios that include stocks, bonds, and maybe, if you work with me, some other investments as well. As I have learned and continue to learn over decades of investing we can make an impact with investments. This is why we are not just Guardian Rock Wealth but also Advocacy Investing.

Naturally most conscientious investors response is to focus on “where” we invest, or “how” we invest. These are important questions. But it’s the “how” and “WHY” we invest that is more important than the “where” we invest.

I have come to understand the value of the gift of life, both now and eternal through the abundant generosity of God. That heart posture in my opinion is the aspect that puts us in the best position to be successful investors.

If our mindset is one of gratitude for the gift we’ve been given and an eagerness to serve God with it we begin to realize that

God cares less about the size and strategy of your investment and more about your heart behind investing at all.
