Please be aware of some letters going out!

The CP53E is a legitimate letter from the IRS with a QR code for updating your banking information. However, scammers are working to intercept banking information by sending out fraudulent letters with legitimate looking websites from a QR code. Know that you can always go directly to the IRS website (link in this article) and set up and make changes for your account. If you have any questions around this issue, please feel free to contact us!
