There was a time when I thought every closed door meant I was being denied.
Now, as I get closer to 50, I can see that some doors were closed because they weren’t meant for me.
Some relationships ended.
Some opportunities didn’t work out.
Some plans took a completely different direction than I expected.
At the time, I was disappointed.
Looking back, I’m grateful.
God saw what I couldn’t see.
He knew what would drain me, distract me, or delay me.
One of the greatest gifts of maturity is realizing that not every “no” is a loss.
Sometimes it’s protection.
Sometimes it’s redirection.
Sometimes it’s preparation.
If you’re facing a closed door today, don’t assume the story is over.
It may simply be that God is leading you to a better one.
📖 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
