⚽ SUPPORT THE FUTURE OF YOUTH SOCCER IN LAFOURCHE PARISH ⚽

The Lafourche Soccer League is asking our community to support the renewal of the recreation millage that helps fund youth sports programs throughout our parish.

Each year, approximately 400 athletes participate in our regular soccer season, with another 155 athletes joining our summer 3v3 league. Our club attracts families from communities across Lafourche Parish—not just Recreation District No. 2 (Raceland). Our club wears our name and represents our parish with pride both at home and while traveling to compete.

While player registration fees help offset costs, they do not come close to covering the expenses required to operate and maintain a program of this size. Without the continued funding provided through this millage, our league would face significant challenges.

If the millage does not pass, families can expect:
• Increased registration costs for players
• Declining field conditions and facility maintenance
• Reduced resources available to support our athletes and programs
• Greater barriers to participation for local children

Over the years, our soccer facilities and programs have become something our parish can be proud of. Visiting teams see firsthand the investment our community has made in its youth, and our players proudly represent Lafourche Parish wherever they compete.

As we continue working to grow the game and provide opportunities for children throughout the parish, we ask for your support. The renewal of this millage is about more than soccer. It is about investing in our youth, strengthening our community, and ensuring that affordable recreational opportunities remain available for generations to come.

Please remember to vote and support the recreation millage renewal.

Although it pains me to say, one of my awesome team members will soon be getting married and moving away. I hate to see our team broken, but I am happy for her new love and happy beginnings.

We survived Tax Season and still came out smiling

Saltzman's Professional Tax Service will be closing @ 6:30PM tomorrow and will remain closed until Monday, April 20th @ 9:00 for a much-needed breather. On Monday, we will begin operating on our summer schedule of M-T 9-4 and Friday 9-12 AGAIN, ANOTHER THANK YOU TO ALL OUR LOYAL CLIENTS WHO NOT ONLY COME BACK YEAR AFTER YEAR BUT THEY ARE SENDING US THEIR FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND COWORKERS!!! I am able to accommodate last-minute drop-offs due to the exceptional efforts of these team members. They have consistently exceeded my expectations, and as a result, we have successfully assisted numerous individuals, with our services extending well beyond April 15th.

We are now in the single digits!! 8 days!!! I have no appointments, but I am still accepting drop-offs for now. I will eventually need to cut this off, but I'm still available to drop off for you, late guys. lol If you have been called to say your return is ready, please come by and sign so we can process your return before next Wednesday. Again, thank you to all who have made this a successful tax season. Yesterday I hit my goal, and I have 8 days left!!!
