Considering filling an extremely part time assistant role in Long Island for next tax season. While I finish up extensions now, you would be able to see what the work involves and possibly pick up a few hours immediately if interested.
It would only be a couple days or maybe 3 half days a week, roughly January 18-April 15, hours are flexible. At $15/hr that would be around $2,100-$3,200. There could be a few days available to work outside of tax season, but they are not required. Open to considering a work-study arrangement with a highly referred high school student depending on what the school requirements are.
No tax experience necessary, but exceptional confidentiality and organizational skill is. Confidentiality and security of client information must be strictly maintained!
Need to be able to use or quickly learn to use the following software/hardware:
-Word/Excel/Outlook and possibly other Office products
-Aspects of Intuit ProSeries
-FoxIt PDF editor
-ScanSnap IX2500
-Canon MF249dw printer/scanner/copier
-Yvette electric 3-hole punch
-Typical office items
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
-Printing, scanning, and organizing various documents
-Printing and stuffing envelopes for mailing
-Contacting clients by phone for missing documents and clarifying information
-Assembling client packets
