Even though we live in an affluent area (North Shore), there are many seniors who are vulnerable to becoming homeless…

2024 marks Hollyburn's 20th anniversary of helping the North Shore's most vulnerable citizens. Each month we will celebrate a specific program. 🥳 🙌💛

Today we brought together some of our seniors for a high tea. Senior Homelessness continues to be on the rise, due to high rent, static pensions, and the overall cost of living. Since we began our seniors programs, we have helped thousands of seniors move from housing instability into affordable housing. The seniors we support continually demonstrate this remarkable resiliency. A little tea party, with an extended pinky, seems quite fitting to celebrate our Seniors at Housing Risk, Supporting Seniors to Remain Housed, the Seniors Safe House, and our Housing First for Seniors programs.
