CG Bookkeeping

CG Bookkeeping Since 1996, we have been helping businesses understand their finances and maximize their growth. Full Charge Bookkeeping Services

What does that mean?

A full-charge bookkeeper is one who has the necessary skills and experience to perform a full range of bookkeeping duties - from the simple to the complex. We take our clients right up to the point where they are ready to go to their tax preparer to have their income tax returns completed. Some of these duties include:

Bank Statement Reconciliation
Data Entry
Accounts Payable (A/P) - entering and

paying bills
Preparation of Sales Journals
Accounts Receivable (A/R) - preparing and mailing invoices
Receiving Payments, preparing deposits and banking the money (at a local bank)
Maintaining A/R and A/P records and files
Assist client in preparing budgets
File Sales Tax Returns
Payroll - calculate and distribute payroll as per client's schedule, online payment of the payroll taxes by due dates, prepare and file quarterly and year-end payroll reports and forms, maintain the necessary payroll records. Prepare and file 1099's
Prepare Balance Sheet and Profit/Loss Statements (and other reports required by client)
Meet with client as requested to analyze and discuss financial reports. We customize our services to meet our clients' needs. Some clients, who do their own data entry, want a minimal "overview" of their work to make sure they're posting deposits and expenses properly. Others pick and choose services to build a customized "package" that fits their business. And others want all the benefits of an in-house bookkeeper - we do that! We just do the work in my office instead of yours. Call Cheri to see how we can put together a package that meets your bookkeeping needs -

whether they be a few duties, several or full-charge.

Small Business Insight

One of the most common things we see when reviewing books:

A profitable business that still feels financially stressed.

Here’s why that happens:

Profit is calculated on paper.
Cash flow happens in real time.

If:
• Your accounts receivable is growing
• Inventory purchases are increasing
• Equipment was financed this year
• Payroll has expanded

You can show a profit and still feel tight month to month.

This isn’t failure.
It’s timing and structure.

Understanding the difference between profit and cash flow is one of the most important shifts a business owner can make.

Clarity reduces stress.

Hey there! It’s been a while.

Like many small businesses, the past couple of years required focus, flexibility, and a lot of behind-the-scenes work. We chose to put our energy into serving our clients well — and we’re grateful for every referral and relationship that’s kept us busy.

But we’re ready to share more of what we see and learn every day.

Running a business is not for the faint of heart. The numbers matter. The systems matter. And having steady support matters.

We’ll be using this page to share practical insights, QuickBooks tips, regulatory updates, and simple financial wisdom for small business owners and families.

If you value clarity over chaos, you’re in the right place.

We’re glad to be back on Facebook and ready to share,

~ Your CGB Team
