Happy almost Derby Week! In the spirit of one of Louisville’s favorite traditions, we wanted to do something fun for our amazing clients who participate in this year’s 2026 tax return challenge.

As you’ll see in the photos below, we have four Kentucky Derby / Miranda Thomas Group – themed hat styles available for clients who send us a copy of their most recent tax return. Once we receive your return:

- If you drop it off at our office, you can pick your favorite hat right away.
- If you email or upload your return, you’re welcome to stop by the office at your convenience to select your hat.

Hats are available while supplies last, so don’t wait until the final stretch!

Providing your tax return allows us to run it through our planning system so we can see the full financial picture, identify planning opportunities, and ensure we’re giving you the best guidance possible—now and going forward.

Last Friday, our team stepped away from the office to volunteer at Adventure Camp for the second year in a row at Camp Crooked Creek in Shepherdsville, KY. Adventure Camp serves students with special needs from across Louisville, Southern Indiana, and surrounding areas, offering activities like fishing, arts and crafts, boating, archery, and more through Scouting America.

We are incredibly thankful to our clients for supporting us as we take time to give back to our community. Adventure Camp is always looking for volunteers and businesses to get involved. If you’re interested in learning more, feel free to reach out to Katelyn Shiver at [email protected].
