At this year’s Oasis conference, Todd Mercer was one of three attendees selected to take the main stage for Sanctuary Voices.

Sanctuary Voices is designed to share the stories that inspire, energize, and remind us what is possible when we persevere through adversity. Todd shared his own story with remarkable openness and vulnerability, reflecting on experiences that have shaped both the person and leader he is today.

For those of us who have the privilege of working alongside Todd every day, it was incredibly meaningful to see him share that side of his story with the broader Sanctuary community.

We couldn’t be prouder of him and of the courage it took to tell his story so authentically.

One of the most meaningful moments of this year’s Oasis conference came during the closing awards ceremony.

Mercer Wealth Management was honored to receive a charitable contribution from Sanctuary Wealth benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana, recognizing our team’s community involvement throughout the 2025–2026 year.

Supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in our community is an important part of who we are as a firm, and Ronald McDonald House holds a special place in our hearts.

We’re grateful to Sanctuary Wealth for celebrating not only the work firms do for their clients, but the impact they strive to make beyond the office as well.

Last week, members of the Mercer Wealth Management team joined colleagues from across Sanctuary Wealth at Oasis, its annual national conference.

This year’s theme, “What’s Next,” challenged us to think about the forces shaping the future of our industry—and how we can continue evolving to better serve our clients. Sessions explored everything from AI and emerging technology to the space economy, changing markets, and a broader approach to client advice that considers health, wellness, and aging.

We were especially proud to see two members of our own team take the stage. AVP and Senior Client Services Associate Wendy Staudenheimer joined a panel on the strategic influence of client operations, while Todd Mercer shared a powerful story of perseverance and resilience during Sanctuary Voices.

We also heard perspectives from former CIA Director and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and closed out the conference with an engaging market update from Mary Ann Bartels.

A few days filled with new ideas, meaningful conversations, and plenty to bring home as we continue thinking about what’s next—for our firm, our industry, and the families we serve.
