David is a lifelong Louisville native who graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accountancy in May 2020. As a licensed CPA with five years of experience in public accounting, he is dedicated to delivering high-quality tax compliance and planning services. David enjoys collaborating with teams to meet clients' needs effectively.

Outside of work, he values spending time with his wife, friends, and family. His hobbies include visiting parks, playing board games, and reading.

Meet Theresa, our Bookkeeper & Tax Preparer! 🌟

Theresa joins our team as a Tax Preparer in Louisville, bringing a unique blend of experience and dedication to client service. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Kentucky and is currently pursuing her MS in Accounting to further expand her expertise.

Originally from Iowa, Theresa has called the Louisville area home for over 20 years and now resides in Jeffersonville, IN. With over 25 years of compassionate, customer-focused service from her career in pharmacy and more than five years of tax preparation experience, she’s committed to helping clients achieve financial peace of mind.

Outside of work, Theresa enjoys quality time with her daughter, Tobey, and her five cats, and she volunteers regularly at her local no-kill cat shelter. A dedicated sports fan, she often travels to Nashville for hockey games. Theresa also loves reading, music, and exploring new destinations.

Meet Justin Jenkins, Partner of Legato CPAs and Advisors! 🌟

Justin studied at Western Kentucky University. Since 2017, he has been registered as an Investment Adviser Representative and is able to provide investment advisory services. Justin utilizes tools and services to help clients pursue their financial independence. He individually works with clients to design holistic retirement strategies that focus on five key concepts: income planning, investment management, tax-efficient strategies, health care planning and legacy protection.

He is a charter member on the estate planning advisory council at Campbellsville University and a contributing author in finance publications. For his passion project, Justin is a board member for the First 48 Financial Education Alliance, a nonprofit organization providing financial education to high school students.

Justin resides in Elizabethtown with his family and enjoys most of his free time beside the grill, on the lake or at the golf course.
