As a member of the board of directors at Freedom 4/24, I am so happy to see Mission Thrift open for business! Freedom 4/24, as well as many other local charities, will benefit from the donation and sale of gently used items here in Lynchburg. And it's a beautiful store. Stop in sometime!

In 2021 I did a hard thing and branded my financial planning business independently of my parent company. Leaving the nest comes with uncertainty, but the outcome has been overwhelmingly positive. You've heard it said that if you do what you love you'll never work a day in your life. I disagree. I love what I do, but I work my tail off for my clients. Learning to intentionally balance work, family, community service, and other priorities has been incredibly hard, but it's so very worth it.
We're building a little collection of awards over here, and it's all thanks to you, my incredible friends and clients.

Today, January 9th, is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. My grandfather was a retired Lakewood (OH) police officer and I'm incredibly proud of that. Thank you to all who serve honorably and with courage. You have such a difficult job and you are in my prayers.
