As we head into the holiday weekend, we'd also like to let you know that Cascade CPA will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

A business’s numbers can look completely steady while the person behind them is running low.
Revenue holds. Margins hold. Deadlines get met. None of it shows how much effort it’s taking to keep everything moving.

The first signs often appear in decisions that aren’t being made. A needed hire remains on hold. A difficult vendor conversation gets pushed another week. An opportunity passes because there wasn’t enough capacity to evaluate it properly.

Those things may not affect the financial statements immediately. Eventually, they do.

Good advisory work includes understanding what the numbers say. It also means paying attention when the person making the decisions no longer has the time or capacity to act on what those numbers are showing.
