The IRS has announced that the 2025 tax filing season is scheduled to begin Monday, January 27. This also goes for state returns.

The early bird doesn't always get the worm! The IRS doesn't start accepting returns until January 29th! Congress is now in the process of finalizing new tax credits, especially for people with kids. Those who don't have kids, still don't file early because the returns won't process right away.

10 days away from tax season.

In the meantime if you need help with planning ahead for preparing for tax season; or if you have a business and need to send out 1099s to your contractors(and w2s to your employees) please schedule an appointment to get the ball rolling.

These are due by Jan 31st.

Time flies when you're having fun! As I'm going into year 3 of Leflore Accounting Services, I just wanted to announce many great new changes.

I have a couple of employees now, and looking to grow in the future!

As of January 1st, my new location will be at 306 E Wilson St (downtown Madison) on the 2nd floor.
