We are locally owned and operated. For the convenience of our clients, the office is open year round. The staff at the Tax Factory believes in maintaining the highest level of integrity while providing accurate, friendly, expedient service at a fair price. We strive to make our clients feel welcome and appreciated so they will return and recommend us to others. Larry focuses on front office manage
ment and with the help of Kay McAlister and other seasonal staff members he takes care of processing bill payments (thru Check Free Pay), scheduling appointments and assisting clients who are dropping off or picking up their returns. Evelyn has been preparing taxes and processing payroll and related tax forms professionally since 2000. In 2005 she passed the Special Enrollment Exam and became an enrolled agent in March of 2006. Her main reason for wanting to achieve the enrolled agent status is to be able to represent any taxpayer before the IRS through Examinations, Appeals, and Collections. To hone her representation skills Evelyn completed the National Society of Enrolled Agents’ (NAEA) National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI) and earned the prestigious Fellow designation in August of 2013. Fellows of NAEA’s National Tax Practice Institute have completed a demanding three-part curriculum that has uniquely prepared them to effectively represent their clients before all administrative levels of the IRS. Having successfully completed coursework covering all variances of examinations, audits, collections and appeals, and having studied best practices and role-playing, Fellows know the entire process from both the client and IRS perspective. In order to keep up with ever changing tax laws she pursues tax education well beyond the annual requirements for her license. She has been a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals since 2002 and the National Association of Enrolled Agents since 2006. Shelly Kuppler, a seasonal tax preparer, has been preparing taxes since 1993. She has an Associates Degree in Business and Accounting from Sullivan University. Participating in numerous seminars with an emphasis on individual and business taxation keeps her on the “leading edge” of ever-changing tax laws. Shelly is currently studying to take the Special Enrollment Exam (Enrolled Agent’s test). The other seasonal tax preparers on our staff have all been instrumental to the growth of our company and they are dedicated to providing excellent service. Each of them goes the extra distance to ensure that our clients get all of the deductions and credits they are entitled to. Every preparer on our staff keeps up with tax law changes and participate in training sessions each year.
