2026 Tax Change! Keep track of your charitable giving during 2026. Even if you are taking the standard deduction, you will be eligible for up to $1,000 additional deduction ($2,000 for married filing joint) for charitable giving. Only monetary donations count towards this (Goodwill donations of household items won't count) and the donation must be to recognized 501(c)(3) organizations.

Lacey recently led a 5-week Junior Achievement course with Mrs. Klaus' 4th grade class at St. Mary's School. This class is full of bright kids who were excited to learn about our topic "More Than Money" and asked great questions. Keep up the great work 4th graders!

Tax Credit Expiring September 30 -
The federal electric vehicle tax credit of up to $7,500 is now set to expire September 30. Taxpayers must have a signed contract with a dealer and have made a down payment before the September 30 deadline in order to qualify for the credit. Delivery of the vehicle can occur later. This credit is up to $7,500 for a NEW electric vehicle and up to $4,000 for a USED electric vehicle (must be purchased from a qualified dealer). Income thresholds also apply in order to be eligible for the credit.
