The tax season for the year has concluded. New changes are now in effect. Paper refund checks are no longer available; instead, taxpayers can opt for direct deposit or a money card. The standard deduction has increased once again. Tax brackets have been adjusted, and individuals over 65 are eligible for an additional $6,000 deduction, while married couples filing jointly can claim $12,000. However, there are income limitations that apply. Further details will be forthcoming.

The City of Mary Esther has issued a must wear mask mandate. Be advised you cannot enter with out a mask and we ask you to use hand sanitizer upon entry. Thank you for your help in keeping others safe. If you do not have a mask one will be provided.
