🤪 Whacky Wednesday Tax Fact:

💰 Did you know the IRS once ruled that a pet cat could be tax deductible?

Not as a pet-but as a working animal.

If a cat is kept at a business (such as a warehouse, farm, or junkyard) primarily to control mice or rats, the costs of its food and care may qualify as an ordinary and necessary business expense.

🐈 So yes... a "professional mouser" can potentially earn its keep! 😂

💼 The key: The cat must genuinely serve a business purpose. Your couch potato at home doesn't qualify.
