First Mid team members recently volunteered at the EffingHAM-JAM BBQ Cookoff in Effingham, IL, supporting an event that raises funds for the Effingham County Chamber Community Scholarship Program.

Since 1996, the program has awarded $278,000 in scholarships to 238 local students pursuing their educational goals.
