I’m excited to share some important updates with you!
In January 2025, I purchased Maysville Accounting and Tax Service from Shirley Marshall. It has been an honor to carry on the great work she began, and I am committed to continuing the same trusted service you’ve always received. I’m also pleased to share that Shirley remains an important part of our team and will continue working with us until she chooses to fully retire.
Over the past several months, we’ve been updating our systems to improve efficiency for both our clients and our staff. (As some of you have noticed—maybe a little too efficient—but that has been corrected!) Please don’t be alarmed if you start receiving automated emails reminding our payroll clients to submit information. It’s us!
We’ll also begin asking for email addresses when you schedule an appointment so you can receive appointment reminders and easily add them to your own calendars.
We’ve welcomed new team members as well, allowing us to expand our services!
In addition to tax preparation, we now offer bookkeeping, payroll, tax planning, general business advising, LLC formations, budgeting, and more.
This upcoming tax season, we will have a few pricing updates. Some clients will notice a slight increase or decrease to their usual tax bill—this is simply to simplify our current pricing system. Our rates remain very competitive, with no significant price hikes.
Here’s a quick overview of our current rates:
• Tax planning sessions: $50 (includes meeting and planning for the upcoming season)
• LLC formation: $150 (includes EIN, Articles of Organization, and filing fees)
• Bookkeeping: $60/hour through January 1st (please see our previous post for details)
• Payroll fees: remain the same — please call for information.
As part of these exciting changes, we are moving to a new office soon!

All other contact information, including our phone number and email, will remain the same. Please update your records with our new address. We’ll also be sending letters soon to notify clients who don’t follow us on Facebook.
