Trump's most profitable business isn't a tower or a hotel. It's a coin.

The Wall Street Journal added it up: since returning to office, the family's ventures have generated at least $4B in cash and paper wealth in about 16 months — more than the entire Trump real estate empire pulled in from 2010 to 2017.

The engine isn't buildings anymore. It's crypto:
→ ~$500M — nearly half of World Liberty Financial, sold to a firm linked to the UAE royal family
→ ~$320M — the $TRUMP meme coin in its first 4 months, more than every Trump-branded D.C. hotel earned across the entire first term

For decades the brand was about what he could build. Now it's about what he can mint.

The richest people alive are spending millions on a room they're praying they never have to use.

Zuckerberg's $270M Hawaii compound has one. So does a sold-out luxury condo built inside an old nuclear missile silo in Kansas.

But the part that actually stuck with us: some billionaires are more worried about keeping their armed guards loyal than surviving the disaster itself.

The 10 most expensive watches ever sold — and one name owns almost the entire list. ⌚

Nine of the ten most valuable watches ever auctioned are Patek Philippes. The single exception? Paul Newman's own Rolex Daytona — a gift from his wife — which sold for $17.8M.

At the very top: the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime, sold for charity in 2019 at $31 million — the most anyone has ever paid for a wristwatch.

A few things that stood out:
⌚ 9 of the top 10 are Patek Philippe
🏆 The lone Rolex is the most famous watch in the world — Paul Newman's Daytona
💰 $131M across just 10 wrists

The pattern? Provenance and scarcity are what the market pays for. The best collectibles get bought for love — the returns are the bonus.

Holland just built the biggest yacht in its history. It ranks 38th in the world.

$550M. 120 meters. 11 suites, 44 crew, a glass-bottom pool that doubles as the beach club's ceiling.

And it still doesn't crack the top 50 — because only ~50 yachts on Earth are over 100 meters, and most of that list isn't tech billionaires. It's royalty and sovereign wealth.

The yacht ladder has no top rung.

How much does it take to be in the richest 1%? It depends entirely on where you live.

🇲🇨 Monaco — $12.9M
🇺🇸 United States — $5.8M
🇨🇳 China — $1.1M

"Rich" is relative to your borders. The bar to join the top 1% swings more than 10x across countries.

Someone made £56M flipping a house they never listed.

Bought for £139M at the end of 2024. Sold for £195M (~$260M) 18 months later. No renovations. No new wing. Never publicly listed — either time.

At this level, real estate isn't about the house. It's about who can move quietly enough to buy what nobody else can touch — and sell before the public ever sees a price.

Send this to the friend who thinks they know how real estate money actually moves.

Someone just paid $105M for an empty lot in Miami. No house. No driveway. Just grass and a waterfront view.

That's more than almost anyone has ever paid for a finished home in the area.

Because at this level, the house was never the point.

You're paying for the moat: private police patrolling by land and sea, one guarded bridge, an address California can't tax.

Zuckerberg just closed on $170M next door. Bezos, Brady, and Ivanka Trump are already inside the gate.

California floated a 5% billionaire levy. Florida has no state income tax at all.

Send this to the friend who thinks "moving to Florida" is just about the weather.

Just 10 stocks now make up ~38% of the S&P 500.

That's the most top-heavy the index has been in modern history, and higher than the peak of the 2000 dot-com bubble. The "diversified" index fund you own may be a far bigger bet on a handful of mega-caps than you realize.

Worth knowing what's actually under the hood of your portfolio.

Erling Haaland's handbag collection is worth more than $800,000 👜

The Man City striker's Hermès stash includes a $68K Rock Black, a $57K Birkin 50, and a $400K Himalaya croc Birkin — turns out the goal machine collects more than trophies.

And it might not just be for the aesthetic: one widely-cited study found the average Birkin appreciated ~14%/year vs. the S&P 500's ~9% — with no down year on record, not even 2008.

Hermès doesn't advertise, discount, or guarantee access to the rarest ones. Scarcity, by design.

Last year, Jane Birkin's original bag sold at Sotheby's for $10.1M — 20x the previous handbag record.

Birkin or index fund — where's your money going? 👜 or 📈
