Each year at Messiah University’s Impact Venture Challenge, I’m reminded… this isn’t about competition… it’s about becoming.

This year, coaching Grant, I watched that shift happen… confidence rising, belief taking root, something real beginning.

These aren’t just presentations. They’re inflection points.

And being invited into that moment… even briefly… matters more than anything else I do.

For me, it was never about money. Not even about giving back. It’s about stewarding belief and empowering the dream state just before the world catches up.

What does modern masculinity look like in a world telling men to separate from their emotions and let ego take the wheel?

How are we supposed to remain a steadfast father figure when the world is telling us that being a provider means long work hours and missed connections?

It looks like presence.

How? By slowing down to realize that keeping your time sacred as a father, for your family and kids, to be present more than just physically, but emotionally as well.

Providing doesn’t just mean monetarily. Of course, we are driven to provide a comfortable life for the ones we love.

But what if we flip the script to acknowledge the comfortable life that comes from a stable home, not just an expensive one? One where presence is a given and love is abundant.

Dubai has a way of resetting your sense of scale not just in height, but in possibility.

A few days in the city and you start to feel it through it’s energy, it’s ingenuity, and it’s quiet confidence that the future can be built if you’re willing to imagine it first.

While there, I met people who think in decades, not moments. We shared not just meals together, but stories and dreams. I stood inside the world’s tallest building—Burj Khalifa—and was reminded how far conviction can take an idea when it’s carried by brilliant minds.

This trip was full of firsts, full of perspective, and full of conversations that sharpened how I want to build, lead, and show up.

And yet… here we are.

You write, “I’m so impressed by your work—would love to connect!” Then send me your Calendly link to find time on your schedule to meet you.

A bottle of wine? Sure. But when you extend an invitation, host the meal.

Connection isn’t convenience. It’s intention.
If you want to build trust, start by setting the table.

Some of life’s best teachers don’t speak a word.

My daughters will always be the greatest gift of my life, but these boys have opened a different door — giving me the chance to be the dad who roughhouses, wrestles, and plays without limit.

They’ve taught me more about humility, care, and kindness than I ever imagined. There’s a brilliance in the way dogs connect with us — no pretense, no judgment, just presence. And in their presence, I’ve learned as much about being human as I have about being their companion.
